Senior Tester - Kolkata (6+ Years) (India)

Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Tester to lead functional and non-functional testing activities for advanced software applications. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in test planning, automation, performance testing, and mentoring QA teams while ensuring high-quality product delivery. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and execute functional and non-functional test strategies. - Create and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Python/MATLAB. - Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Performance, Load, Stress, and Security Testing. - Validate image processing and geospatial modules such as classification, segmentation, and change detection. - Lead UI/UX validation and usability testing activities. - Collaborate with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality. - Mentor junior testers and drive QA best practices. - Prepare test plans, test cases, defect reports, and test execution reports. Required Skills - 68 years of experience in Software Testing. - Strong expertise in Functional & Non-Functional Testing. - Experience in Test Automation Frameworks. - Hands-on experience with Python and/or MATLAB. - Good understanding of Performance, Load, Stress, and Security Testing. - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Preferred Skills - Experience in Geospatial, Aerospace, or Defence domain. - Knowledge of SAR/Optical image analysis. - Experience in mentoring QA teams and driving testing strategies. .
