Key Responsibilities - Error Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve basic to intermediate issues in Java-based applications, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. - Client Communication: Engage with clients to understand issues, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction through clear and professional communication. - Daily Standups: Participate in daily standup meetings to discuss task allocations, project updates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Code Debugging: Analyze and debug Java code to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions. - Incident Management: Monitor and manage incident tickets, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of solutions in the ticketing system. - Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to escalate complex issues and contribute to long-term solutions. - Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and processes to support knowledge sharing and process improvement. - Performance Optimization: Assist in identifying performance bottlenecks in applications and suggest improvements to enhance system efficiency. - On-Call Support: Provide on-call support as needed to address critical issues outside regular working hours. Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Expertise: - Hands-on experience with Java 8+ - Strong experience in Spring Boot - Experience with React.js - Good knowledge of PostgreSQL - Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs - Proficiency with Git for version control - Working knowledge of Docker and containerized application deployment - Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Java development and/or production support - Experience debugging and resolving issues in Java-based applications in a production workplace - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Soft Skills: - Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams effectively. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Team player with a proactive and collaborative approach. Education: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
