Location: Chennai Experience: 4-8 Years (Preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Application Production Support Engineer to join. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of production applications by providing end-to-end production support, incident management, request fulfillment, and change implementation. The role requires close collaboration with global teams, especially the Paris Operations team, to maintain highly available production environments while ensuring adherence to ITIL processes and service level agreements (SLAs). Key Responsibilities Provide L2 production support for business-critical applications. Handle Application and Infrastructure Incident Management. Perform Application and Infrastructure Request Fulfillment. Execute Application and Infrastructure Change Implementations. Ensure production support activities meet defined SLA targets. Coordinate with global support teams, infrastructure, development, and security teams. Escalate complex issues to Paris Operations teams whenever required. Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and documentation activities. Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives. Prepare operational reports and KPI metrics. Support ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management. Manage service requests through ServiceNow. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures. Participate in production release activities and post-release monitoring. Support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments. Required Technical Skills Strong experience in Linux L2 Production Support. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift. Experience using ServiceNow ticketing system. Knowledge of monitoring tools such as: Dynatrace ELK Stack Grafana Good understanding of Oracle and SQL Server databases. Ability to execute SQL queries and database scripts. Hands-on scripting experience in: Python Bash PowerShell Knowledge of Docker containerization. Exposure to Cloud platforms (IBM Cloud preferred). Strong understanding of ITIL framework and ITSM processes. Experience supporting High Availability and Disaster Recovery environments.
