Role Purpose:- The Sales Training Head is responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing the sales capability development framework across the organization. The role focuses on building a high-performing sales force by delivering effective training programs on mutual funds, investment products, sales techniques, regulatory compliance, distributor engagement, and leadership development. The incumbent will work closely with sales leadership, product teams, compliance, and HR to drive sales excellence and business growth. Key Responsibilities:- Training Strategy & Capability Development - Develop and execute the organization's sales training strategy aligned with business objectives. - Build competency frameworks for various sales roles, including Retail Sales, Institutional Sales, Channel Sales, and Relationship Managers. - Identify capability gaps through training needs analysis and performance assessments. - Design annual training calendars and learning roadmaps. Product & Market Training - Deliver training programs on mutual funds, investment solutions, asset allocation, financial planning, and capital markets. - Ensure sales teams remain updated on product launches, market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments. - Develop certification programs to enhance product knowledge and advisory capabilities. Sales Excellence Programs - Design and conduct training on consultative selling, relationship management, prospecting, objection handling, negotiation, and closing techniques. - Develop structured onboarding programs for current sales hires. Distributor & Partner Training - Create learning initiatives for distributors, IFAs, national distributors, banks, and channel partners. - Conduct investor awareness and partner education programs to improve product penetration and sales effectiveness. - Leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS) for content deployment and training effectiveness tracking. Compliance & Regulatory Training - Ensure all training programs adhere to applicable regulations and industry standards. - Conduct mandatory training on compliance, ethics, risk management, and regulatory guidelines. Performance Measurement - Monitor training outcomes through assessments, certification scores, sales productivity metrics, and field observations. - Provide periodic reports and recommendations to senior management. Stakeholder Management - Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, Compliance, HR, and external training partners. - Support leadership in driving a culture of continuous learning and high performance. .
