The Role Werelooking for a Performance &DataAnalysis Engineer who lives at the intersection of solar performance&product quality.Youllbe the person who makes sure the insights our platform produces areaccurate&every new project lands on the platform cleanly all while being a sharp, trusted technical contact for client&site teams. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role.Youllvalidatewhat our Digital Twins detect, investigate underperformance down to root cause&keep data flowing correctly as new assets come onboard.It suits someone with a solar O&M or performance-analytics background&who wants to grow quickly while solving meaningful, real-world energy problems. Key Responsibilities Platform Quality Assurance Validate platform outputs alerts, fault detections, KPI calculations, dashboards,reports&flag false positives, data gaps,&inconsistencies before they reach a customer.Cross-check Digital Twin&analytics results against expected plant behaviour to keep the platform a trustedsingle sourceof truth.Document issues precisely, raise them with engineering&product,&verify fixes once shipped.Performance Analysis Monitor solar plant performance&analysegeneration data to spot trends, deviations,&underperformance.Track&interpret core KPIs Performance Ratio (PR), Availability, CapacityUtilisationFactor (CUF),&specific yield at plant&inverter level.Run energy-loss analysis&Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on underperformance, faults,&alarms,&recommend corrective actions.Client & Site Team Communication Be a technical point of contact for client asset managers&on-site O&M teams communicating findings, priorities,&recommendations clearly.Prepareconciseperformance reports&technical summaries for internal&clientstakeholders,&drivetimelyclosure of operational issues.Validate Onboarded New Projects Validating data feeds, plant configuration&baseline performance models for accuracy.Coordinate across client, site&internal engineering teams to make every go-live smooth, fast&error-free. What We Are Looking For Bachelors/Masters/Doctoratein Electrical, EEE, Renewable Energy or a related engineering field.2+ years in solar PV performance monitoring, O&Manalyticsor asset managementin SOLAR.Strong grasp of solar KPIs[PR, CUF, Availability, specific yield]&the ability to interpret them to diagnose issues.Hands-on experience with solar monitoring / SCADA platforms&CMMS / ticketing systems.Working knowledge of PVsyst&strongproficiencyin MS Excel for analysis&reporting.ExperienceunderstandingRootCauses of issues&producing clear performance&technical reportsanalysingthem.Strong analytical, problem-solving&written/verbal communication skills.Sharp attention to detail. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
