Role & responsibilities 1.Oracle EBS Administration - Manage and support Oracle EBS environments (R12.2 preferred) - Manage EBS file systems (RUN/PATCH edition) - Maintain EBS environment configurations using AutoConfig - Manage EBS services using adop/adstrtal/adstpall utilities - Configure and maintain Workflow Mailer - Configure and support XML Publisher, Output Post Processor (OPP), Discoverer, Forms, Reports, and WebADI - Manage EBS users, responsibilities, and profile options - Support EBS integrations and external interfaces 2. Online Patching & Maintenance - Perform Oracle EBS online patching using ADOP - Execute ADOP phases:Prepare Apply Finalize Cutover Cleanup - Apply Oracle Critical Patch Updates (CPU) - Apply ATG, TXK, and application patches - Troubleshoot failed patches and patch worker issues - Perform post-patch validation and system verification - Maintain patching documentation and rollback procedures 3. Cloning & Environment Management - Perform EBS application and database cloning - Clone Production to UAT/DEV/Test environments - Configure Rapid Clone utilities - Maintain workplace-specific configurations after cloning - Sanitize cloned environments: - Refresh environments as per business requirements 4. Database Administration Support - Support Oracle Database administration activities - Monitor database performance and availability - Work with Oracle DB, Data Guard, RMAN backups, and recovery - Support database upgrades and migrations - Perform backup and recovery operations - Support disaster recovery planning and testing 5. Middleware & WebLogic Administration - Administer Oracle WebLogic Server for EBS R12.2 - Manage managed servers: oacore forms oafm forms-c4ws - Troubleshoot WebLogic startup and deployment issues - Configure SSL certificates and secure access - Monitor JVM memory and tuning parameters - Support Node Manager administration 6. Linux & Infrastructure Support - Administer Oracle Linux/Red Hat environments - Manage filesystem utilization and mount points - Monitor CPU, memory, swap, and I/O performance - Manage startup scripts and service automation - Troubleshoot OS-level issues affecting EBS - Coordinate infrastructure changes with system administrators 7. Backup, Recovery & Disaster Recovery - Design and maintain backup strategies - Perform RMAN backup/recovery operations - Conduct DR drills and failover testing - Support business continuity planning - Ensure backup validation and recovery readiness Preferred candidate profile .
