We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee and continuously improve our safety and compliance programs across our operations. This is not a traditional safety position. We are looking for someone who enjoys building systems, improving processes, reducing risk, and helping create industry-leading safety programs. Responsibilities Develop and maintain company safety policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, and applicable state regulationsMonitor driver qualification files and hiring complianceOversee Hours of Service compliance and ELD monitoringManage accident investigations and root cause analysisReview CSA scores and implement corrective action plansConduct virtual safety auditsMonitor medical certificates, license renewals, and annual MVR reviewsManage driver coaching, disciplinary actions, and safety performance programsDevelop and deliver driver safety trainingTrack key safety metrics, including accidents, violations, inspections, and claimsWork closely with dispatch, operations, maintenance, and executive leadershipIdentify opportunities to improve safety performance and regulatory complianceQualifications Minimum of 2 years of trucking safety management experienceStrong knowledge of FMCSA regulationsExperience managing fleets of 50 or more commercial vehicles preferredExperience with CSA, DOT audits, DataQs, and compliance investigationsKnowledge of driver qualification files, Hours of Service regulations, and accident managementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and analytical abilitiesExperience creating SOPs and safety documentationSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyPreferred Experience Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and ELD platformsInsurance claims managementFleet maintenance complianceSafety score improvement initiativesDriver coaching and trainingMicrosoft Office and Google WorkspaceWhat We Offer Competitive salary based on experienceRemote work environmentOpportunity to build and lead a growing safety departmentDirect collaboration with executive leadershipLong-term career growthOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on company safety culture and operational excellenceHow to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief summary of your trucking safety experience, the size of the fleets you have managed, and examples of safety programs or initiatives you have successfully implemented.
