Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles, and experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or Flux). Strong background in front-end development and a proven track record of designing and implementing user interfaces. Experience with AWS ecosystem Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript (ES6+), experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js), and familiarity with RESTful APIs. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. A knack for benchmarking and optimization and familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, with strong understanding of UX principles and ability to create intuitive user interfaces. Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, designers, and platform teams. Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools within the work environment (e.g., for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation) with demonstrated ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security. Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; ability to guide peers on safe and effective usage within team practices.
