We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with 6+ years of experience building and operating Azure infrastructure environments. The role focuses on virtualized compute, networking, landing zone foundations, and Infrastructure as Code. The engineer will support design, deployment, and optimization activities across multiple customer environments and ensure adherence to platform governance and security patterns. Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain IaC using HCP Terraform for Azure environments. - Support deployment of Azure resources required for Ignition, MQTT, PostgreSQL, networking, and integration services. - Maintain GitHub repositories and Azure DevOps pipelines. - Implement multi-setting deployment workflows for dev, test, prod, and plant-specific subscriptions. - Support private networking between plant networks and Azure cloud subscriptions. - Help automate Azure IoT Operations MQTT Broker deployment/configuration where applicable. - Support infrastructure for cloud-hosted Ignition servers. - Implement Key Vault, RBAC, managed identity, and secure secret handling. - Troubleshoot Terraform, pipeline, networking, and access-related issues. - Produce deployment runbooks and operational documentation. Minimum Requirements The candidate must be a hands-on Azure IaC/DevOps engineer with practical experience in Terraform, Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, GitHub-based source control, Azure networking, Key Vault/RBAC, and deployment troubleshooting. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
