Roles and Responsibilities: About the Role: This is a pure new business role. Your one job is to open doors, build pipeline, and close new enterprise accounts that have never worked with AuthBridge. You will own the full sales cycle - from first outreach to signed contract - across a defined set of target industries and geographies. Once a deal is signed and an account is live, it moves to our dedicated Account Management team who take over all client servicing, renewals, and day-to-day relationship management. You stay focused entirely on what you do best: finding and winning the next one. Your target buyers are HR Heads, TA Heads, TA Leads, and HR Operations leaders at mid-market and enterprise B2B companies across India. If you love the thrill of a cold call turning into a closed deal - and you want a role structured entirely around that - this is it. Key Responsibilities: Pipeline & Prospecting: - Own a monthly and quarterly new logo target; your success is measured purely on new accounts closed, not renewals or existing business. - Build a healthy, high-quality pipeline from scratch through: - Cold outreach - calls, LinkedIn, email sequencing - Industry events, HR conclaves, NASSCOM / SHRM forums - Partner and referral networks - Working with the SDR/inside sales team where available - Research target accounts deeply - understand their headcount, hiring volume, attrition patterns, existing BGV vendor relationships, and compliance requirements before the first conversation. - Maintain a rigorous CRM discipline - every conversation, follow-up, and deal stage updated in real time. Sales Cycle Ownership: - First Conversation to Signed Contract - Run discovery meetings with HR Heads and TA Heads to understand current BGV pain points: TAT, candidate experience, discrepancy rates, compliance gaps, and vendor reliability. - Pitch AuthBridge's full employee screening suite contextually: - White-collar and blue-collar background verification - Leadership and C-suite verification via AuthLead - Moonlighting / dual employment checks - Drug and pre-employment health checkups - iBRIDGE platform with HRMS/ATS integration - Navigate multi-stakeholder deals - manage HR, TA, Procurement, IT, and Legal simultaneously without losing momentum. - Build and present commercial proposals; negotiate pricing, SLAs, and contract terms to a close. - Coordinate with pre-sales and solutions teams for demos, pilot setups, and RFP/RFI responses. Relationship Building & In-Person Engagement: - Travel extensively across India to meet prospects in person - this is a field sales role at its core. - Build genuine, long-term relationships with HR and TA leaders - your network is your competitive moat. - Represent AuthBridge credibly and enthusiastically at industry events and networking forums to generate warm leads. - Create a strong personal brand in the HR community as a trusted advisor on background verification and workforce compliance. Handover & Cross-functional Collaboration: - Execute a structured, thorough account handover to the Account Management team once a new client is onboarded - your accountability ends at go-live; theirs begins. - Work closely with marketing on campaigns, case studies, and lead generation initiatives tailored to target segments. - Provide structured market feedback to product and leadership - what objections are you hearing, what competitors are you running into, what features are clients asking for. What We're Looking For Must-Have Experience: - 3-7 years of B2B field sales experience in India with a strong track record of consistently hitting new business targets. - Experience selling to HR, TA, or People function buyers is a strong advantage - prior BGV, HRTech, Staffing, SaaS, or HR services sales experience preferred. - Demonstrated ability to run a full sales cycle independently - from prospecting to closure - with deal sizes ranging from INR 5L to INR 50L+ annually. - Comfortable with an entirely outbound-first motion; you don't wait for inbound leads to land in your inbox. - Willingness and genuine enthusiasm for extensive PAN India travel to meet clients in person. Skills & Competencies: - Relentless and resilient - you treat a 'not now' as a 'not yet' and always know your next move. - Sharp listener and consultative seller - you earn trust by understanding the client's world before pitching your own. - Strong communicator in English and Hindi; ability to hold a room with senior HR stakeholders. - Commercially sharp - confident discussing pricing, ROI framing, and competitive positioning. - High personal accountability - you own your pipeline and your number, no excuses. - Organised and process-driven despite the fast pace - CRM hygiene is non-negotiable for you. .

WorkMundi's database shows 74,689 open sales positions globally. India leads with 17,483 jobs, followed by the US with 13,876. If you're open to geography, you have real options — but the sheer number means you need a filter. Don't apply to everything. Pick a country, a company size, and a sales model that matches what you actually want to do.
Almost 8 in 10 of these ads have their text written in English. That's useful for reading the job description and understanding what you're signing up for. But it tells you nothing about whether the role requires you to speak English with customers, partners, or your team. Ask the hiring manager directly during your first conversation.
The employers posting the most are boxlunch, SIMPLE RECRUIT, FlexBoard, and tmobile. If you see their name on a listing, you know they're actively hiring. That can work in your favor — high-volume recruiters often move faster. But volume also means competition. Your application needs to stand out.
Sales interviews almost always include a version of this: 'Tell me about a time you lost a deal. What did you learn?' Prepare a real story where you take ownership of what went wrong and what you'd do differently. Hiring managers want to see you learn, not just win.
