Role Description The Cashier role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. The Cashier will handle daily payment transactions, process cash, card, and digital payments accurately, and issue receipts while maintaining organized records. Responsibilities include balancing the cash drawer at the end of each shift, reconciling discrepancies, and following established procedures for refunds and exchanges. The role also involves providing courteous customer service, answering basic inquiries, coordinating with other team members to resolve payment issues, and adhering to company policies and relevant financial guidelines. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong cash-handling and numerical skills, including accuracy in counting, recording, and reconciling transactions.Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with diverse customers and team members.Candidates should possess basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system skills, including familiarity with digital payment platforms.Candidates should possess time management and organizational skills to manage queues, maintain orderly records, and meet daily closing requirements.High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in cashiering, retail, or front-office roles is preferred.Ability to work on-site in Pune City, stand for extended periods, and follow standard operating procedures with attention to detail.Integrity, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with financial and organizational policies. .
