IPDRG CDI (Clinical Documentation Improvement/Investigation) JD: INDIA Minimum 3 years of experience in CDI/ IP DRG Coding with strong focus on IP. Strong knowledge on APR-DRG/MS-DRG, ICD-10 CM/PCS coding, clinical guidelines with strong understanding of disease processes, Clinical indicators, Treatments. HACs, PSIs & Mortality models. Experience performing concurrent CDI Final review/DRG reconciliation and reports DRG mismatch disagreements. Facilitating and obtaining appropriate physician documentation for any clinical conditions or procedures to support the appropriate severity of illness, expected risk of mortality. Should have hands on experience on how to raise compliant query. Interacting directly with physicians to query for more specific documentation and to provide documentation guidelines from ICD-9 and ICD-10 standards. Creating documentation education classes to general surgery residents, increasing the levelling of reporting which lead to increase revenues. Clinically evaluate how the health record translates into coded data, including review of provider and other clinician documentation, lab results, diagnostic information, and treatment plans. Communicate with providers either through discussion or in writing (e.g., formal queries) regarding missing, unclear, or conflicting health record documentation, and clarify the information as warranted. Strong experience performing IP Document reviews to clarify Dx/Pxs where inadequate/conflicting documentation is suspected. Tools & Certifications: Working experience with Epic & 3M 360. Any of CCS/CIC/CDIP Certified Qulalification: With at least 3 years of Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist experience With at least 3-8 years of inpatient coding (IPDRG) Job Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Salem, Trichy & Pune Designation: QA / SME.
