Job Title: Talent Procurement Purchasing Assistant GDS The opportunity The purpose of the global EY organization is to Build a better working world. The insights and services the organization provides help to drive long-term value for clients, people and society and to build trust in the capital markets. An essential function under EY Business Enablement, Supply Chain Services (SCS) is a global team with more than 600 professionals in over 35 countries supporting the EY organization across the globe. This structure helps enable knowledge-sharing across categories and regions, streamlining efforts in seeking innovative suppliers that can provide exceptional client service to maximize SCSs value for the EY organization and the world's supply chain. A key component of SCS is Global Procurement, whose purpose is to drive more significant synergies and value creation from sourcing to contract lifecycle management, deliver exceptional client experiences and build more vital collaboration to manage Technology, Talent and Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) spend categories. We forge meaningful supplier relationships and strengthen supplier resilience to help EY maximize long-term value for its people, clients and communities. As a Talent Procurement Team member you will have the opportunity to work with a professional team of Procurement professionals in a global environment and work with colleagues on interesting sourcing projects in the GDS. Your key responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor to EY stakeholders by delivering pipeline projects, exceptional customer service, and measurable value through cost savings, cost avoidance, and contract value realization. Partner with senior stakeholders and Global Procurement colleagues to develop category strategies aligned with the overall global strategy. Build relationships with key EY stakeholders and provide regular updates on category insights and progress. Promote and facilitate the Global Procurement and Supply Chain Policy and related processes, ensuring project teams and stakeholders understand their value and comply with requirements. Manage and support requests for proposals (RFPs), including commercial and contractual negotiations, in close collaboration with Legal (GCO), Global Client Serving Partners, Sector Leaders, and other business partners. Improve sourcing efficiency and compliance by implementing purchase orders and using AI tools where appropriate. Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business priorities and deliver commercial value and operational efficiency. Lead complex sourcing projects from opportunity assessment through contract execution, including competitive events, supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, and ongoing governance. Advise business leaders on procurement and influence decisions through market intelligence, spend analysis, and strategic recommendations. Oversee the negotiation and management of MSAs, FSAs, SOWs, amendments, and other commercial contracts. Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Risk, Information Security, and Compliance teams to implement appropriate contractual protections and manage supplier risks effectively. Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers, conduct governance reviews, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement. Support supplier onboarding, due diligence, compliance reviews, and remediation activities as needed. Engage extensively with stakeholders and partner effectively with senior business leaders across functions and geographies. Act as a trusted procurement advisor, providing commercial guidance and serving as an escalation point for strategic supplier and contractual matters. Contribute to procurement transformation, process improvement, capability development, and the mentoring of procurement professionals. Skills and attributes for success Business acumen and commercial skills to help leadership drive procurement and demand management strategies across a broad array of portfolios.
