Pristyn Care - Senior Manager - Category Management

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Category Manager to lead and scale a key business vertical. The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, excellent leadership capabilities, and a data-driven approach to decision-making. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing P&L, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences through seamless operations and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Own and scale the assigned category with an entrepreneurial approach, driving sustainable growth and profitability. - Lead, mentor, and manage a large team while fostering a high-performance and accountability-driven culture. - Manage P&L responsibilities, ensuring alignment with monthly and long-term business projections. - Drive revenue growth strategies and ensure consistent achievement of business targets. - Ensure a seamless customer/patient experience by coordinating closely with operational and service teams. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Tech, Product, Marketing, HR, and Finance to drive operational efficiency. - Track and improve category performance across cities and segments, identifying new growth opportunities. - Define and monitor key operational metrics and KPIs to enhance team performance and process efficiency. - Implement operational excellence frameworks to meet and exceed monthly business goals. - Utilize data analytics and insights for strategic planning and performance improvement. - Identify and develop new demand channels to maintain a balanced and scalable supply-demand ecosystem. - Lead vendor/partner negotiations and strategic deal closures when required. - Solve complex business challenges with an innovative, analytical, and results-oriented approach. Key Requirements: - Bachelors degree from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution. - B.Tech preferred from a Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3 institution. - 5+ years of experience in category management, business operations, or general management roles. - Proven experience in owning and scaling a business line or category. - Strong exposure to P&L management, revenue forecasting, and operational strategy. - Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Highly data-driven with a strong understanding of metrics, KPIs, and business drivers. - Prior experience in healthcare, e-commerce, or consumer services will be an advantage. - Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. .
