Accounts Assistant Remote New Delhi

Role Overview This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys handson work, accurate bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and improving finance processes. The position supports AP/AR, management reporting, cost tracking, and Excelbased analysis , with exposure to international operations. Key Responsibilities Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) (invoice processing, receipts, vendor payments, client reconciliations) Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and support monthly closing Assist with project costing, budget tracking, cash flow monitoring, and cost allocation Support preparation of management accounts, MIS, and financial reporting for India & UK teams Prepare basic financial models, analysis, and variance reports Maintain templates, trackers, finance dashboards, and documentation Use Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and digital tools to improve accuracy & efficiency Work with Xero accounting software for bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting Use AI-assisted tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, automation tools) where helpful for efficiency Must-Have Skills Skills & Requirements Strong understanding of endtoend accounting processes Excellent handson skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Pivot Tables, complex formulas) Clear written and spoken English communication Experience with Xero (mandatory or highly preferred) Ability to maintain accuracy, deadlines, and financial discipline Preferred Skills Experience in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL) Exposure to financial operations, budgeting, cash flow, and management reporting Knowledge of audit preparation, compliance documentation, and reconciliations Comfortable using AI tools, automation platforms, and digital workflows Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience in accounting or finance B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CAInter preferred Experience with Xero is a solid advantage Why Join Us Work with both India & UK finance teams Exposure to international accounting processes Remote work flexibility Prospect to improve and build finance systems Growth-oriented role in a modern, tech-enabled workplace Job Type Full-Time | Remote (India) Only candidates with strong accounting fundamentals and solid Excel + Xero experience should apply. .
