Hiring for a Leading Shipping Co. based at Lower Parel. Looking for people only from Freight Forwarding, Shipping or CHA background. Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic professional to manage end-to-end customer service and operational coordination for project cargo shipments, including containerized, breakbulk, and oversized cargo across export and import movements. The role demands strong coordination, communication, and compliance management to ensure seamless execution. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for clients handling project cargo shipments Understand client requirements for complex cargo (OOG, heavy lift, breakbulk, etc.) Provide timely shipment updates, milestone tracking, and proactive communication Handle customer queries, concerns, and escalations effectively Build and maintain solid client relationships Operations Management: Plan and execute export and import shipments (FCL, LCL, breakbulk, project cargo) Coordinate with shipping lines, transporters, port authorities, and vendors Arrange specialized equipment (flat racks, open tops, etc.) Oversee cargo stuffing, lashing, securing, and survey processes Ensure adherence to shipment timelines and delivery schedules Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and verify shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL, COO, etc.) Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws Coordinate with CHA for smooth clearance processes Handle permits and approvals for oversized/overweight cargo Coordination & Vendor Management: Liaise with internal teams (sales, pricing, finance) Coordinate with overseas agents and global partners Tracking & Reporting: Track shipments and provide regular status updates to clients Maintain accurate records in internal systems Prepare MIS reports on operational performance Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of project cargo, breakbulk, and container shipping Positive understanding of Incoterms and international logistics Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong problem-solving ability in energetic environments High attention to detail and documentation accuracy Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field 25 years of experience in freight forwarding/shipping Experience in handling OOG, heavy lift, or breakbulk cargo will be an added advantage .
