You will combine professional nutrition judgment with structured annotation, evaluating AI-generated content for scientific accuracy, safety, and relevance while labeling food and dietary data used in nutrition tracking, coaching, and research applications. This is an entry-level project opportunity requiring a background in nutrition, dietetics, food science, or a related discipline. The assignment is part-time and requires 20+ hours per week. Work is worldwide and conducted in English. Your work will support consistent, high-quality datasets and help identify issues that could affect the performance or safety of nutrition-focused AI systems. Annotate food items, portion sizes, meal composition, and nutrient content from text, images, or logsClassify dietary patterns, including macronutrient balance, meal timing, restrictions, and preferencesVerify nutritional information against trusted food composition databases and other reliable referencesIdentify mislabeled or culturally ambiguous food entriesFlag inconsistencies for correctionApply and help refine annotation guidelines for diverse cuisinesMaintain consistency and quality benchmarks across large annotation batchesEvaluate nutrition content for scientific accuracy, safety, and relevanceRequirementsYou should have a professional or academic background in nutrition, dietetics, food science, or a related discipline. The role requires careful judgment when evaluating nutrition information, estimating portions, categorizing foods, and recognizing dietary differences across cultures and cuisines.
