About the Role Our client is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Drug Safety Physician to lead critical safety evaluations within their pharmacovigilance department based in Jaipur . This physician will play a pivotal role in assessing the safety profile of marketed and investigational drugs, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. You will analyze complex safety data, contribute to risk management strategies, and interact with regulatory authorities. Key Responsibilities Perform medical assessment of adverse event reports and safety databases. Contribute to the development of Risk Management Plans (RMPs) and Risk-Benefit Assessments. Lead signal detection and evaluation activities, providing medical expertise. Author and review periodic safety update reports (PSURs/PBRERs) and other regulatory safety documents. Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and medical affairs teams on safety-related issues. Requirements Medical Doctor (MD) degree with relevant postgraduate qualifications (e.g., Internal Medicine, Pharmacology). Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety, with a strong clinical background. In-depth knowledge of global drug safety regulations and guidelines. Proven ability to interpret and analyze complex clinical and safety data. Excellent medical judgment, analytical skills, and communication abilities.
