Role Description This part-time remote Systems Coordinator / Technical Support Specialist role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to internal teams and end users, ensuring systems are stable, secure, and accessible. The role includes monitoring system performance, managing user accounts and permissions, and coordinating software updates and configurations in collaboration with IT stakeholders. The specialist will respond to support tickets, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, document resolutions, and escalate complex problems as needed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining knowledge bases, assisting with onboarding and training for new systems or tools, and contributing to process improvements that enhance overall system reliability and user experience. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and interpreting system logs and performance data.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact clearly with non-technical and technical stakeholders, provide user-friendly explanations, and document support activities.Candidates should possess System Administration capabilities to manage accounts, permissions, configurations, and routine maintenance tasks across various platforms.Candidates should possess Information Technology knowledge, including familiarity with operating systems, networks, cloud-based tools, and basic cybersecurity practices.Candidates should possess Technical Support experience, including handling ticketing systems, remote support tools, and structured incident resolution workflows.Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with help desk or service desk environments, knowledge of common business applications (e.g., productivity suites, collaboration tools), and exposure to ITIL or similar support frameworks.A relevant associate or bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality and data security standards. .
