Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Accounts and Taxation Associates based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The role includes maintaining books of accounts, preparing financial statements, and assisting with period-end closing activities. Associates will handle direct and indirect tax computations, support tax return preparation and filings, and assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. Daily responsibilities may also include reconciling accounts, preparing working papers, supporting audits, and communicating with clients regarding documentation and compliance requirements. The role involves working with accounting and tax software, ensuring accuracy, and meeting deadlines set by clients and regulatory authorities. Qualifications Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial statements, and ledger management.Knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, including income tax, GST, and TDS compliance.Ability to work with accounting and tax software, spreadsheets, and standard office tools.Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach.Ability to manage multiple deadlines, work collaboratively in a team, and maintain confidentiality.Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or completed professional qualifications (CA Inter or equivalent) is an advantage.Prior internship or work experience in accounts, audit, or taxation will be considered a plus. .
