The role requires strong synthetic chemistry expertise and the ability to contribute effectively to multidisciplinary research programs. Roles & Responsibilities Design & Discovery Design and discover new molecules for therapeutic targets. Conduct literature searches and design suitable synthetic routes. Contribute to drug discovery and development projects. Synthesis & Optimization Plan and execute multi-step organic synthesis. Optimize chemical reactions and troubleshoot scientific challenges. Perform synthesis, purification, and scale-up activities where required. Contribute to efficient execution of research programs. Analysis & Interpretation Interpret analytical data generated using NMR, LCMS, HPLC, and related techniques. Characterize synthesized compounds. Evaluate analytical results to support medicinal chemistry programs. Documentation & Collaboration Maintain accurate scientific documentation and laboratory records. Present scientific findings and research results. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Follow applicable laboratory, safety, health, and environmental guidelines. Required Education M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, M.Sc. in Medicinal Chemistry, Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry, or any other relevant qualification in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry. Experience Required 114 years of relevant experience. Experience in Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, CRO, CDMO, or Pharmaceutical R&D environments. Immediate joiners are preferred. Required Skills Strong foundation in Organic Chemistry and Synthetic Chemistry. Multi-step organic synthesis. Reaction optimization and troubleshooting. Compound purification.
