Through our two global business units - Storage Solutions, the world leader in tanks, terminals, and storage systems, and Asset Solutions, a leading provider of operations, management, wells and decommissioning services - we combine technical excellence with execution capability to extend asset life, optimize performance, and maximize value.OverviewThe Project Quality Manager (PQM) will be responsible for defining and developing strategies and plans to ensure compliance with established Codes, Standards, Regulations, Policies, Procedures and Contractual Requirements.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand contract requirementsUnderstand Sub-contract agreement requirementsUnderstand local regulatory requirements related to QualityPrepare and maintain the Project Quality PlanEnsure sufficient QA/QC resources are available to support all Project Processes; thus, including Design, Procurement, Fabrication, Supplier Surveillance, Receiving, Handling & Storage, Construction and Commissioning.Report Project Quality performance to Area Welding & QA/QC Manager and Area Quality Manager.Ensure Project Quality Training is performed, completed and documentedEnsure staff abides by HSE requirements applicable to their work scopeAct as the focal point for project quality issues and resolutionAdvise Project Team on all QA/QC issuesMonitor, manage and coordinate Procedure Program Implementation - including New Procedure Generation, revisions and complianceCoordinate with Engineering in development of QA and QC Plan Details or Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) as applicableEnsure Project Specific Quality Control Procedures are developed and implementedEnsure a Preventative Maintenance Schedule is developed for applicable contract materials and equipmentCoordinate with Home Office welding / Corporate Welding Technology (CWT) for identification and development of WPSs and Procedure Qualification Record (PQRs)Ensure Production Test Plate (PTP) requirements are implemented.Ensure Welder/Welding Operator Performance Qualifications (WPQs) are maintainedEnsure Material Management (Identification and Traceability) requirements are understood and implementedReview key project deliverables to confirm compliance with quality requirementsParticipate in subcontracting and procurement cycles to ensure specified quality requirements are metReview applicable subcontractors/suppliers quality documentationEnsure the effective management of on-site QC inspection and testing activities.Ensure Weld Rod/Filler Material controls are established and maintainedEnsure Project NDE is coordinated and NDE Tracking System is established and maintainedEnsure Quality Control Training is performed, completed and documentedEnsure Inspection and NCR/CAR logs are developed and maintained.Identify and process non-conformances, including obtaining Client approval of proposed resolutions, ensuring implementation and monitoring effectiveness of agreed resolutionsReview welder performances and investigate unsatisfactory performancesEnsure project quality documentation and records are developed and maintainedMonitor programmatic compliance to project quality objectives, applicable codes, standards, policies, procedures and specific contract requirementsCoordinate QA audits of project activities according to project audit programCommunicate with Clients inspection personnel in performing the role of CB&I Quality Management RepresentativeLocal RequirementsProvides direction, assistance, and information to meet specified requirements on quality management, welding, NDE, PWHT and QC methods. They implement CBIs Quality Management System and work with the project team to ensure compliance with CBI, Code and Client requirements.Comply fully with CB&I Business Conduct, Safety and Ethics Policies at all times.Implement Project QMS requirements as per company / contract requirements.Understand the scope of work and develop Project Quality Plan/ Contract Quality Plan .
