reputed company is hiring a Payroll Specialist for a remote position!Who You Are We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to reputed company. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and managing the payroll for our employees across multiple states, ensuring accurate and reputed company compensation, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations. reputed company Process and calculate payrolls for full-time employees and 1099 contractors across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reputed company states specific payroll tax laws, wage laws, and regulations. Apply appropriate tax rates, deductions, and withholding to employees based on their work location(s), including state and local tax requirements. Ensure accurate and reputed company submission of payroll taxes for federal, state, and local jurisdictions for both employees and contractors. File necessary tax documents (e.g., quarterly filings, annual tax returns) and ensure compliance with applicable payroll laws in multiple states. Stay updated on changing state-specific tax laws and ensure reputed company adjustments to payroll processes as necessary. Maintain up-to-date employee records, including payment history, tax withholding forms, reputed company deposit details, and benefit deductions. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, including wage discrepancies, deductions, and tax information. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate record-keeping of employee benefits, time off, and deductions.
