Lead Architect- API Integrations

Role: Lead Architect Domain : Information technology (IT) Location : Mumbai Required Experience: 12 - 20 Years Mandatory Requirements 10-12 years of experience in technology leadership / solution architecture roles Strong expertise in API integrations across eCommerce platforms and ERP systems Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed architectures Proficiency in backend technologies (Node.js, Python or similar) Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and middleware integrations Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Business Central preferred) and eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, etc.) Solid understanding of data structures (JSON, XML), data transformation, and data pipelines Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT, API keys) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or similar) and scalable system design Understanding of event-driven architecture, messaging queues, and asynchronous systems Strong problem-solving, debugging, and stakeholder communication skills About The Position: We are looking for a hands-on technology leader who can define architecture, drive execution, and solve complex technical challenges, particularly across data, APIs, and third-party software and ERP integrations. You will play a critical role in building scalable, high-performance, and integration-heavy systems powering global digital commerce solutions. Key Responsibilities Partner with business and product teams to translate goals into scalable technical solutions Own architecture decisions, standards, and platform scalability Partner with business and product teams to translate goals into scalable technical solutions Design, develop, and maintain API integrations between eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, custom platforms) and ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, NetSuite, SAP, etc.) Integrate third-party services such as suppliers, payment gateways, shipping providers, and product data platforms (e.g., PromoStandards APIs) Ensure accurate and real-time synchronization of orders, inventory, pricing, and customer data Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, data mismatches, and performance bottlenecks Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, operations) to define integration requirements Monitor API performance, logs, and error handling mechanisms Implement best practices for security, scalability, and data integrity Document integration workflows, APIs, and data mappings. .
