About Complyance: Complyance builds technology that helps businesses manage e-invoicing and regulatory-compliance workflows. Our Delivery team implements API, ERP, file-based and manual-upload e-invoicing solutions for enterprise customers across the UAE. We're looking for an early-career engineer excited about APIs, enterprise systems and financial technology. About the Role: Join our PMO & Delivery team in Chennai as an Associate Integration Engineer, working closely with a Technical Implementation Consultant to support customer implementations from technical discovery through API/ERP integration, UAT, go-live and hypercare. This is a junior, hands-on technical role for someone with strong software fundamentals who wants to build a career in enterprise integrations and customer-facing delivery. Full-stack or API development exposure is a strong plus. You'll test APIs, validate JSON payloads, document system landscapes, support data mapping, reproduce technical issues and assist customer/ERP teams plus build and debug APIs in training environments to understand request handling, business logic, databases and error handling end to end. You'll start with structured, reviewed tasks and progressively take on more independent ownership. What You Will Do: Technical Discovery and Documentation Support discovery workshops with customer IT, ERP, finance and integration teams Document customer systems, current-state flows, meeting notes and action items Collect API specs, sample payloads and file formats; maintain project records and diagrams API Testing and Troubleshooting Test approved API scenarios in Postman, preparing and validating JSON payloads. Review responses, status codes and error details; reproduce reported issues with logs and evidence. Document expected vs. actual results; escalate unclear or high-risk questions to the TIC ERP and Data-Mapping Support Support mapping between customer ERP fields and approved API/file fields Identify missing or inconsistent data and maintain mapping/open-question trackers Coordinate clarifications through the Technical Implementation Consultant and Functional Lead Impact Assessment and Solution Documentation Support: Assist in preparing Technical Impact Assessments and system-flow diagrams Update approved SDD sections and incorporate review comments; maintain version/approval records Flag activities inconsistent with approved design Note : The Solution Architect approves architecture; the TIC owns Impact Assessment and SDD preparation. Implementation Coordination Maintain action, dependency, issue and decision trackers; follow up with internal/customer teams Prepare technical status inputs for meetings; escalate blocked or unclear activities promptly UAT and Defect Support Support technical readiness checks and API/payload testing in UAT Reproduce defects, maintain logs, retest fixes and escalate failed retests Support the Implementation Quality Lead without independently approving UAT completion Go-Live and Hypercare Support Support go-live checklists and production-readiness/smoke testing Monitor assigned actions during hypercare; maintain known-issue and workaround records Prepare technical handover documentation; escalate production issues immediately Product and Process Improvement Record recurring issues and help improve Postman collections, checklists and guides Suggest improvements to documentation and workflows; support productised tooling in Krato and the Partner Platform. Required Skills Foundational understanding of REST APIs, JSON and familiarity with Postman Basic integration/client-server knowledge and ability to read technical documentation Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting and analytical skills Clear communication, task organisation and follow-up discipline Willingness to learn ERP/finance/e-invoicing concepts and work UAE business hours Preferred Skills (advantageous, not mandatory) Full-stack or hands-on REST API development experience (JS/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Java, C#/.NET or similar) Understanding of request handling, validation, business logic, DB operations and error handling Exposure to SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, NetSuite or similar ERP platforms Basic SQL, Git, API authentication (keys/tokens/OAuth) and CSV .
