Our client is looking for a Senior Service Engineer to manage the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of advanced solar cell and module testing equipment, ensuring reliable performance and customer satisfaction Role & responsibilities - Install, commission, and validate solar cell and module testing systems - Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and production qualification - Execute machine relocation, upgrade, and retrofit projects - Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance - Diagnose electrical, electronic, software, optical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues - Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions - Provide remote and in office technical support - Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers - Conduct operator and maintenance training - Prepare installation and service reports while maintaining service records - Coordinate with the global headquarters and internal technical teams on technical issues and spare parts - Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety guidelines, and service procedures Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Opportunity Installation completion on schedule - First-time fix rate - Customer satisfaction - Equipment uptime - Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) - Preventive maintenance compliance - Service response time Preferred candidate profile - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation or Renewable Energy Engineering - Minimum 5 years of experience in Solar PV manufacturing or industrial equipment service - Knowledge of IV measurement, solar simulators and EL measurement preferred - Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills - Willingness to travel extensively across India .
