Product Manager (Data Integration & Backlog Management)

Location: Pune Employment Type: Full-time Seeking an experienced Product Manager with strong backlog management expertise to lead data integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will own the product backlog, drive Agile delivery, collaborate with engineering teams, and deliver scalable integration solutions. Candidates with Oil & Gas, fleet management, fuel card, or card systems experience are highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the product backlog for data integration features. Translate business requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Prioritize backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and stakeholder inputs. Align backlog with the product roadmap and release plans. Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Coordinate with development, QA, architects, and business teams to ensure high-quality delivery. Identify and resolve delivery risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks. Define and manage integrations with ERP, CRM, fuel card platforms, and external partner systems. Work with data engineers and solution architects to build scalable APIs, ETL processes, and cloud-based data pipelines. Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and security across integrated systems. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on product and integration initiatives. Present status reports, dashboards, and release updates to leadership. Gather user feedback and continuously improve product capabilities. Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations including GDPR and PCI-DSS. Partner with QA teams to define test scenarios and validate integration workflows. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of Product Management experience. Minimum 3 years managing data integration or backend-focused products. Strong experience with Product Backlog Management and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Hands-on understanding of APIs, ETL, enterprise integration, cloud platforms, and data architecture. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. Experience in Oil & Gas, fleet management, fuel card platforms, or card systems is highly preferred. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. CSPO, PMP, or equivalent Agile/Product Management certification. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Tableau/Power BI, MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory, or similar integration platforms. .
