This is a full-time, on-site AI-native Full stack Developer Intern role based in Chennai. The intern will collaborate with engineering and product teams to design, develop, and maintain web applications that support Illumine-is digital execution tools and project workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and integrating front-end interfaces with back-end services, implementing AI-driven features, debugging and optimizing code, and ensuring responsive, accessible user experiences. The role also involves participating in code reviews, documenting features, and contributing to prototypes that improve efficiency in energy and infrastructure projects. The intern will be expected to learn rapidly, work closely with mentors, and contribute to a collaborative, problem-solving environment. Qualifications Strong foundation in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with the ability to work across application layers.Proficiency in Front-End Development, including familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like React.Experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development using Python, node frameworks, and RESTful APIs.Interest in AI-native applications, including integrating machine learning models or AI services into web products.Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.Comfort with version control (e.g., Git), basic software testing practices, and collaborative development workflows.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with attention to code quality and performance.Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in English. .
