About WellmindAI: Text-based mental health chatbots suffer from severe retention drop-offs, while human therapy ($150/hr) is unscalable for billions. WellmindAI is building autonomous Digital Human AI counselors (Yaro & Ava) delivering real-time, low-latency voice and video support starting at $1.20/week (99/week) with 100% software margins. Our live base prototype has achieved a 17m+ average session length across 2,000+ organic users with zero ad spend. Role Overview: We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on Android Developer Intern to step in and build our core Android application from scratch. You will take our early prototype concept and rebuild it into a production-ready, high-performance native/cross-platform Android app integrated with low-latency streaming AI pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and optimize the native Android mobile app architecture from scratch (Kotlin / Android SDK or React Native). Integrate real-time low-latency voice and video streaming protocols (WebSockets, WebRTC) for our AI avatar counselors. Ensure ultra-smooth UI animations, responsive layouts, audio-video synchronization, and battery/memory efficiency. Collaborate directly alongside the Founder & CEO to ship features, fix critical bugs, and iterate rapidly based on real user feedback. Requirements: Hands-on experience building Android applications using Kotlin / Java OR React Native (Android focus). Solid understanding of Android SDK, UI layout design, REST APIs, WebSockets, and Git workflows. Familiarity with media streaming, WebRTC, or audio/video processing in mobile apps is a huge plus. High ownership mindsetability to build fast, take initiative, and solve complex mobile engineering blockers. Performance-to-Full-Time Conversion: This is a high-ownership, pre-seed founding internship. Based on your execution velocity, code quality, and effort during the internship, exceptional performers will be offered a Full-Time Founding Android Engineer position with a competitive salary and increased equity upon our upcoming funding round. .

That number includes positions in India (9,577), Poland (3,429), the United States (1,753), Singapore (787), and Brazil (779). If you're looking to move or work remotely, check which countries match your goals — then filter WorkMundi by location to see what's actually hiring near you.
Most developer ads you'll see are written in English: 18,397 of the 24,795. That doesn't tell you whether the job itself requires you to speak English or work in English daily, so read each posting carefully. Don't assume the language of the ad matches the language of the team.
The employers posting the most developer roles are Link Group (369 jobs), Upvanta (257), jobgether (226), and OfferZen (212). If you're applying to any of these, research their hiring patterns. They move fast and post often, which means they're either scaling hard or replacing people who didn't fit.
In your interview, expect this: 'Walk me through the last time you had to debug something that took you more than an hour. What was it, what did you try first, and what would you do differently?' Hiring managers ask this to see if you think systematically or just try random fixes. Have a real example ready with specifics.
