3D AI Graphics Designer

Position Overview We are looking for a creative and technically skilled 3D AI Graphics Designer to lead 3D visual production and AI-assisted content creation for ILEM Japan. The ideal candidate will design 3D models, environments, and photorealistic renders while leveraging generative AI tools to speed up ideation, texturing, and iteration, partnering closely with marketing, product, and content teams to bring campaigns and digital experiences to life. Roles & Responsibilities Design and produce 3D models, environments, and product visualizations for ILEM Japan's campaigns, website, and marketing assets Use AI-based tools (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, RunwayML, or similar) to generate concept art, textures, and reference materials, accelerating the creative pipeline Integrate AI-generated assets into 3D pipelines (Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, or similar), ensuring every output aligns with ILEM Japan's brand guidelines and creative vision Create photorealistic or stylized renders for social media, web, product, and advertising use Develop and refine texturing, lighting, and shading workflows to elevate the visual quality of 3D content Collaborate with creative, marketing, product, and content teams to keep 3D and AI-generated visuals aligned with current trends and business objectives Own 3D design projects end to end, from concept through final delivery, balancing quality, consistency, and timelines across multiple concurrent projects Track emerging AI tools and 3D design trends to continuously raise the bar on design quality and workflow efficiency Optimize 3D assets for various platforms (web, AR/VR, print, video) and present concepts and final deliverables to internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback to meet project goals. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in 3D design and modeling, with a strong portfolio spanning product visualization, environments, and rendered content Proficiency in one or more 3D software: Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, 3ds Max, or ZBrush Hands-on experience with AI image/video generation tools (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, DALLE, RunwayML, Adobe Firefly, or similar) Strong understanding of texturing, lighting, and rendering (Octane, V-Ray, Arnold, Redshift, or similar) Solid grasp of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator) Ability to translate briefs and creative direction into polished, on-brand visual output Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams Strong time management skills, able to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Educational Qualification Bachelor's/Masters degree in Design, Fine Arts, Animation, or a related field Key Competencies 3D Modeling & Rendering AI-Assisted Creative Workflows Texturing & Lighting Visual Storytelling Cross-Functional Collaboration Ownership & Accountability .
