Software Development Engineer (SDE) Intern Location: Mohali, Punjab Job Type: Internship Eligibility: BTech (2027 pass-outs) | BCA (2026 & 2027 pass-outs) About the Role DataTroops, an AI-focused IT company, is looking for a Software Development Engineer (SDE) Intern to join our engineering team. This is a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience building real software at a company where AI is central to what we build working alongside our engineering team on backend systems, APIs, and AI-integrated features. What You will Do Assist in designing, developing, and testing backend systems and APIs Write and debug code under the guidance of senior engineers Work with our team on AI/ML-related features and integrations Participate in code reviews and learn team coding standards and best practices Support troubleshooting and issue resolution across projects Learn and apply new tools, frameworks, and technologies as needed Eligibility BTech 2027 pass-outs BCA 2026 and 2027 pass-outs Skills Required Basic to good understanding of coding/programming Knowledge of Python and Java Understanding of REST APIs Basic awareness of AI concepts/tools (exposure is enough, expertise not required) Any additional programming languages or tools are a plus 6 months 1 year of internship/training experience in software development Who We are Looking For Strong problem-solving ability and eagerness to learn Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving tech environment Genuine interest in AI and how it is applied in real products How to Apply Interested candidates can apply on hr@datatroops.io Compensation: 100.00 - 101.00 per hour Benefits: Paid sick time Paid time off Work Location: In person .
