Location: Bangalore/Mumbai Note: We are looking someone who is comfortable to work in Night shift 9PM to 5 AM IST. Skills Good hands on experience of using JIRA, confluence, Service Now Basic knowledge on DevOps tools like Jenkins, Github, etc Agile methodology Ability to coordinate between cross-functional teams Excellent Communication Skills - verbal and written (mandatory) Role and Responsibilities Understand the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and plan the release windows and cycles across work streams Manage/Identify risks and resolve issues that affect release scope and schedule Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and they meet expectations Handling Release in all lower like QA, CPV, Training and production environments. Communicate all key project plans, commitments and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at onshore and offshore Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and release Go/No-Go reviews Produce Deployment Run Books and Implementation Plans Release Reporting as and when needed Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities Work with release engineers/DevOps team to understand impacts of branches and code merges Maintains the release schedule for all work streams and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors. Continually work towards making improvements in the release process Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists. Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release activities Maintains a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, notification lists, Runbooks Should have experience of leading a 4 to 5 member team .
