Junior Interior Designer - Fresher

About the job: Job Summary We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our growing design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing modular kitchens, wardrobes, and customized furniture layouts, interacting with clients, conducting site visits, preparing technical drawings, and coordinating with production and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about interior design, customer experience, and modular furniture solutions. Key Responsibilities Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, and customized furniture layouts. Prepare 2D and 3D layouts, working drawings, and presentations using AutoCAD and SketchUp. Develop functional and aesthetically pleasing space plans based on client requirements. Conduct client meetings to understand design preferences, lifestyle, and project expectations. Explain design concepts, materials, finishes, pricing, and product specifications to customers. Visit project sites for measurements, site inspections, and design validation. Coordinate with production, installation, and execution teams to ensure design accuracy. Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), material specifications, and design documentation. Suggest innovative storage solutions and optimize available space. Ensure all designs comply with company standards and project timelines. Assist senior designers in project planning and execution. Resolve design-related queries during project execution. Stay updated with the latest trends in modular interiors, materials, and space planning. Required Skills Strong knowledge of modular kitchens, wardrobes, and furniture design. Good understanding of space planning and interior detailing. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office. Knowledge of V-Ray, Enscape, or Lumion will be an added advantage. Excellent visualization and presentation skills. Good communication and customer handling skills. Ability to understand technical drawings and construction details. Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities. Attention to detail with a customer-focused approach. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Educational Qualification Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Freshers with excellent design portfolios are encouraged to apply. Experience 0-5 years of experience in modular furniture or residential interior design. Experience in kitchen, wardrobe, and storage design will be preferred. Freshers with strong software skills and a creative portfolio may also apply. Software Knowledge AutoCAD SketchUp MS Office V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion (Preferred) Preferred Candidate Profile Creative mindset with an eye for detail. Passionate about interior design and home d cor. Comfortable with customer interactions and site visits. Willing to travel for client meetings and project inspections.
