SVP Technology (Delhi)

Job Title: SVP - Technology Location: New Delhi Function: Technology & Platform Leadership Employment Type: Full-time Industry Experience: E Commerce About the Role We are looking for a senior technology leader to define and scale the end-to-end tech strategy for a large-scale digital commerce platform designed for India-wide impact. The role will drive architecture, platform engineering, microservices, AI-first solutions and ecosystem integration. Key Responsibilities - Define and own the technology vision, strategy and architecture for a high-scale platform - Lead product tech, platform engineering, infrastructure, DevOps and QA teams - Design and implement microservices-based, cloud-native, distributed systems - Ensure reliability, security, resilience and performance for population-scale usage - Drive engineering excellence, governance, best practices and automation - Build and lead high-performing engineering teams; drive talent strategy and mentorship - Collaborate closely with product, business and external ecosystem stakeholders - Manage technology budgets, vendors and delivery outcomes against roadmap Required Experience & Skills - 15+ years of overall technology experience, with at least 3+ years in senior leadership (Director/Head/VP/SVP) - Proven track record in building and scaling complex distributed platforms - Strong expertise in microservices, APIs, event-driven systems and cloud-native architecture - Experience with digital commerce / large-scale consumer platforms / public digital infrastructure (preferred) - Strong first-principles and product-thinking approach - Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-performing engineering teams - Excellent stakeholder management, communication and decision-making skills Ideal Profile This role is suited for a hands-on, strategic technology leader who has operated at scale, is comfortable working in a multi-stakeholder workplace, and is motivated by building mission-led platforms with national-level impact. .
