Key Responsibilities Be the first point of contact for support and resolve ticket in defined SLA Monitor and optimize the performance of Elasticsearch clusters to ensure system stability, reliability, and scalability Design and Deploy new Elasticsearch clusters to support large-scale data search and analytics applications Apply updates and patches to keep the cluster up-to-date and in line with organizational policies Develop and maintain scripts for managing Elasticsearch clusters, including automation of routine tasks Create and maintain complex visualizations and dashboards in Kibana to support business needs Perform regular backups and recovery operations for Elasticsearch clusters Communicate with customer and internal team regarding problems reported and solved status in timely and effective manner Communicate effectively internally and with product support team to reproduce, resolve support cases and maintain documentation Document Elasticsearch configurations, procedures and best practices Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and other team members. Stay updated with the latest developments in Elasticsearch, related technologies and recommend improvements. Experience and Essential Skills: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4 to 6 years of experience in technical team managing ELK cluster Must have strong experience in implementation and management of Elastic clusters, Kibana and Logstash, REST API integration, onboarding of workload and deploying APM Experience in troubleshooting, maintaining and supporting production setup Experience in configuration parameters, indexing, search and query performance tuning, security and administration of ELK cluster Advanced scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar Good understanding of Indices Mapping, Index management such as archiving, reindexing, sharding etc. Hands on experience of working on the Linux operating system Experience with cloud services and on-premises platforms e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Ability to interact effectively with customers for problem resolution Sense of urgency and ownership to get problems solved in timely manner Ability to work on multiple tickets/support cases effectively and be able to manage time critical tasks Benefits We understand the importance of Team Members well-being and work-life balance.
