Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium, Appium, test automation frameworks, and quality engineering practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through automation, continuous testing, and collaboration with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle. In this role, you will design and implement scalable test automation solutions for web and mobile applications, drive quality initiatives, mentor team members, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within our engineering organization. Key Responsibilities Test Automation Development Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and mobile applications. Create automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and related automation tools. Automate functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing. Develop reusable test libraries and utilities to improve testing efficiency. Quality Engineering Excellence Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and quality standards. Ensure software quality throughout the SDLC by integrating testing early in the development process. Analyze requirements and technical designs to identify test scenarios and edge cases. Participate in design reviews and provide quality-focused recommendations. CI/CD and DevOps Integration Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to enable continuous testing. Monitor automation execution results and provide actionable insights. Improve release confidence by implementing shift-left testing practices. Defect Management Identify, document, track, and verify software defects. Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Validate fixes and ensure no regression impact across applications. Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and Onshore test lead. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices. Drive quality engineering culture across teams. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation. Strong hands-on experience with enterprise web and mobile application testing. Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments. Experience working with globally distributed teams.
