Role Description This is a full-time (6-12 months), on-site Quality Control Engineer Electrical role based in Gujarat/Odisha/Kerala . The role involves performing electrical inspections and tests on equipment, systems, and installations to ensure compliance with relevant standards, project specifications, and client requirements. The Quality Control Engineer will prepare and review inspection reports, documentation, and quality records, and support corrective and preventive actions for identified non-conformities. The position includes collaborating with project, production, and vendor teams to resolve technical issues, improve processes, and maintain consistent quality across EPC and manufacturing projects. The engineer will also participate in internal audits, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and assist in implementing IQRAs integrated quality frameworks at client sites. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance for electrical systems and components for 400kV substation / Switchyard.Candidates should possess solid Quality Management capabilities, including implementing SOPs, CAPA, and compliance with industry standards.Candidates should possess excellent Analytical Skills to interpret test results, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.Experience in EPC, manufacturing, or third-party inspection environments, preferably in electrical 400kV substation / switchyard projects.Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications, and quality documentation.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently on-site.Proficiency with basic inspection tools, measurement devices, and MS Office for reporting. .
