We are looking for a motivated and hands-on IoT Field Engineer- Trainee to join our team. This role involves installing, configuring, and supporting IoT-based devices at client locations. You will work closely with customers to ensure smooth deployment, provide training, troubleshoot issues, and deliver excellent technical support. Key Responsibilities - Install, configure, and test IoT gateway devices and sensors at customer sites. - Mount and connect devices at client locations - Conduct site surveys to assess power availability, network connectivity (Cellular/Wi-Fi), and optimal sensor placement. - Verify sensor accuracy, connectivity, and system performance before project handover. - Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and device-related issues during site visits. - Assist customers in setting up their accounts and configuring the web application. - Train end users on using the monitoring dashboard, managing alerts, and generating reports. - Ensure customers are confident in monitoring real-time data and responding to notifications. - Respond to customer queries and resolve technical issues through phone, email, or ticketing systems. - Diagnose and troubleshoot software, connectivity, and device issues remotely whenever possible. - Escalate complex issues to the engineering team when required. - Maintain accurate records of installations, support requests, and device inventory. - Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of IoT hardware and embedded software solutions. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IoT and embedded systems. - Gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of IoT and embedded systems development. Requirements - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field. - Basic knowledge of IoT sensors such as temperature, humidity, and GPS. - Familiarity with wireless communication technologies such as GSM/Cellular, Wi-Fi, BLE, and LoRaWAN. - Basic understanding of electrical wiring, cabling, and hardware installation. - Willingness to travel frequently for local and regional client visits. - Good communication and customer interaction skills. - Must possess a valid driving licence and a personal vehicle for local site visits.
