We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Software Engineering to join our technology team at Clarivate, Noida location. The person will be responsible for delivery of a specific product with ability to lead software engineering teams and provides guidance in architecture and system design. About You (Skills & Qualification Required) Must have a bachelors degree in engineering or masters degree (BE, ME, B Tech, M Tech, MCA) Minimum 10 years of experience in Software Development, with a proven track record of designing, building, and deploying large-scale, enterprise-level systems. Should have extensive experience in building scalable, distributed software architectures. Proficient in programming language - Java, spring boot, microservices with strong experience in designing and implementing REST-based APIs for both internal services and consumption of third-party services. Experience in developing and deploying applications within cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Should have experience in people management, team structuring, and mentorship. Should have foundational understanding of core AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science concepts and workflows. It would be great if you also have, Prior experience successfully launching and scaling production AI/ML applications. Experience in modern DevOps, MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code principles. What will you be doing in this role Manage teams of Colleagues. Lead, direct, and review the teams work to achieve operational or functional targets with significant contribution towards the achievement of immediate and short-term results for the team. Regularly assists with team evaluation, technical capabilities, and providing colleague feedback. Collaborate with customers to understand the requirements and lead the development of tailored solutions that address their needs effectively. Work closely with Product Management teams to gather quarterly inputs and align technology initiatives with product roadmaps and strategic objectives. Facilitate communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Data Science, and other departments, to ensure alignment and smooth execution of technology initiatives. Develop and deliver quarterly roadmaps outlining key technology initiatives, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and objectives. Estimate completion time for technology projects within a quarter, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure timely delivery. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within existing systems and processes. Proactively identify and address bottlenecks in the development process, working collaboratively with teams to overcome obstacles and maintain project momentum. Continuously explore new technologies, methodologies, and approaches to drive business growth. About the Team The existing team is spread across India with strong technical and analytical skills.
