Junior Project Controls Analyst (PMO Commercial & Finance) Lloyds Register Location: Mumbai, India. What were looking for This is an assistance focused role, providing specialist commercial support. Helping to facilitate both commercial and project management controls and best practice in terms of project set up, control and reporting for the Global Projects Team against defined procedures. You will be supporting the project managers and teams in the implementation of both commercial and Project Management policies, and frameworks, by providing advice on process, procedures and tools. You will undertake a range of administrative and chargeable activities, and will resolve queries for internal / external clients. The role - Provide support to ensure appropriate set-up in SAP ByD to replicate the WBS to ensure accurate budget, actual and forecasts. - Creating and managing project purchase Orders, including subcontractor, ensuring intercompany subcontractor process is followed. - Assist with managed close outs of completed projects. - Estimation of unbilled work remaining to support order book and workload analysis. - Deal with queries and build relationships with internal and external clients, as appropriate, including resolution of support service problems. - Creating and issuing client invoices for complex projects. - Ensure documentation/data/information and tasks relevant to projects are planned, evaluated and processed in accordance with project requirements, local business requirements and agreed deadlines. - Assist PMs in preparation of status reports and portfolio reports as required, ensuring the timely delivery of reporting to the agree cycle. Validating and challenging data quality with both Project Manager and Boards. - Contribute to status meetings as required and help expedite allocated follow-up actions. - Support implementation of business and project control systems and tools and training. Contributing to the ongoing improvement of project management tools, practices and techniques within the Project Management Framework (and LR). What you bring - Experience working with Finance & Supply Chain Corporate systems, such as in SAP BYD, Sage, SAP - Knowledge of financial and budgetary planning - Experienced user of standard software: Word, Excel, Outlook as a minimum - Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the work You are someone who - Is keen to take accountability and ownership for delivering customer needs - Is able to self-manage and prioritize tasks towards achieving goals - Is effective at solving problems, trouble-shooting and making timely decisions - Is flexible and eager to take initiatives - Communicates in a structured way and has ability to present technical ideas in user-friendly language - Displays a team spirit, particularly in a multicultural environment - Responds positively to learning opportunities and is comfortable stepping out of own comfort zone #LI-KC1 #LI-Hybrid .
