Job Description Lead Product Owner Position Summary We are looking for an experienced and business-focused Lead Product Owner to drive product vision, requirements, and successful delivery of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, customers, Project Managers, Engineering teams, QA, and Business Analysts to ensure business needs are translated into clear, prioritized, and high-quality product requirements. This role is responsible for managing the product backlog, defining business priorities, leading requirement discussions, and ensuring delivered solutions provide maximum business value. The Lead Product Owner will play a key role throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), supporting multiple enterprise applications including ERP, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Finance and other business platforms. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and Agile delivery experience while being comfortable working with customers and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Product Ownership & Strategy Define and communicate product vision, goals, and business priorities. Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it reflects customer and business needs. Prioritize features, enhancements, defects, and technical improvements based on business value. Collaborate with business leaders to develop product roadmaps and release plans. Ensure product decisions align with business objectives and customer expectations. Requirements Management Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions. Convert business needs into well-defined Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria. Ensure requirements are complete, testable, and clearly understood by development and QA teams. Review and refine backlog items regularly to support sprint planning and delivery readiness. Manage requirement changes while maintaining scope and business priorities. Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and delivery teams. Build strong relationships with customers and internal business teams. Facilitate requirement workshops, backlog grooming sessions, sprint reviews, and product demonstrations. Manage stakeholder expectations through regular communication and product updates. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and obtain business signoffs. Agile Delivery & SDLC Collaboration Work closely with Project Managers, Engineering Managers, Technical Leads, QA, DevOps, and Business Analysts throughout the SDLC. Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Clarify business requirements during development and testing phases. Support release planning, production readiness, and post-release validation. Ensure business priorities are reflected in sprint commitments and release plans. Product Quality & Business Value Validate delivered functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria. Ensure solutions meet customer expectations and provide measurable business value. Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and enhancement opportunities. Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and product innovation. Reporting & Governance Track backlog health, release progress, sprint outcomes, and delivery metrics. Prepare business updates, product status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries. Identify risks, dependencies, and business impacts early and work with delivery teams on mitigation plans. Ensure documentation remains current and follows organizational standards. Technical & Functional Competencies Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Experience working with enterprise applications built on Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQL Server, APIs). Good understanding of system integrations, business workflows, and enterprise application architecture. Familiarity with ERP, Warehouse Management Systems , Supply Chain, Finance & Procurement,. Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools. < .
