Function: Sales / Business Development Location: Kolkata Reporting To: Area Sales Manager / Cluster Head Role Objective Drive business growth in the Loan Against Property (LAP) segment by sourcing and managing secured lending opportunities within the 10 Lakhs to 3 Crore ticket size, ensuring portfolio quality, compliance, and profitability. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales - Acquire new customers through multiple channels such as DSAs, connectors, brokers, and direct sourcing. - Drive LAP business with focus on self-sourcing and channel activation. - Achieve monthly and quarterly disbursement targets. - Build and manage a strong pipeline of secured lending opportunities. Channel Management - Identify, onboard, and manage DSA / Channel Partners for business sourcing. - Ensure productivity and activation of channel partners. - Maintain long-term relationships to drive consistent business flow. Customer Handling - Understand customer financial requirements and propose suitable LAP solutions. - Coordinate with credit, legal, and technical teams for faster processing. - Ensure a seamless customer experience from lead generation to disbursement. Credit & Risk Coordination - Conduct initial customer profiling and eligibility assessment. - Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal compliance norms. - Work closely with credit teams to improve approval rates while maintaining risk standards. Portfolio Quality - Maintain healthy portfolio quality with focus on low delinquency and minimal NPAs. - Monitor early warning signals and support collections where required. Market Intelligence - Track competitor offerings, interest rates, and market trends. - Identify opportunities for business expansion in assigned geography. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Disbursement volume ( value) - Number of files logged and approved - Self-sourcing ratio - Channel productivity - Portfolio quality (Delinquency / Bounce %) - Conversion ratio (Login to disbursement) Eligibility Criteria Education - Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred) Experience - 3-8 years of experience in secured lending (LAP / Mortgage Loans / Housing Loans) - Proven track record in managing ticket sizes 10 Lakhs 3 Crore Key Skills & Competencies - Strong sales and negotiation skills - Deep understanding of secured lending products - Channel / DSA management expertise - Good knowledge of credit policies and documentation - Relationship building and stakeholder management - Result-oriented with strong execution ability Preferred Candidate Profile - Candidates with an existing DSA/connector network will be preferred - Robust local market knowledge - Ability to work in a target-driven environment Compensation - Competitive fixed salary + performance incentives + reimbursement as per company policy Perks and benefits Performance bonus, Medical Insurance, Term life insurance, Accident insurance and Petrol allowance .
