Job Description: The Community Engagement Executive will be responsible for the implementation and evaluation of community engagement activities for various alumni associations and similar communities globally. Responsibilities: - Plan and organise community engagement activities by working closely with all the stakeholders of FlockForge as well as the representatives of each communities. - Assist communities in implementing their long term goals such as building and updating their database, planning get-togethers and other social gatherings and running campaigns to increase involvement and participation of members. - Manage various social activities of the community such as scholarships, charity, training sessions, sports and other cultural events by working closely with the management committees of such communities. - Identify, initiate, and deepen relationships with various community stakeholders. - Communicate with Digital Media Executives and update relevant content in the communitys website and social media platforms. - Run pre event and post event campaigns for communities and motivate all the stakeholders to increase participation. - Manage PR for the community. - Understand the key objectives and values of the specific community and run activities aligned with them. - Understand power structures within the communities, identify key movers, decision makers and influencers and build relationships with them. - Generate new business opportunities in other institutions through relationships with alumni from other institutions in existing communities. - Coordinate with resources within the community and outside to get tasks done for the community Qualifications: - Passionate about building communities and engaging with people. - Should have good event management capabilities. - Strong verbal and written communication skills both in English and Malayalam. - Excellent organisational and planning skills. - An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines. - Degree in MSW background, communication or journalism.
