Key Responsibilities Perform engineering activities for electrical and instrumentation systems, including preparation of BOMs, electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, P&ID, logic diagrams, and DCS I/O lists for customer approval and project execution. Provide technical support to operations by resolving electrical & instrumentation-related issues in workshop, quality, testing field, and at customer sites. Prepare technical specifications for bought-out items such as: Electric motors Process instruments (pressure, differential pressure, temperature, level transmitters/switches) Temperature elements Speed measuring equipment Electromechanical actuators / electro-pneumatic positioners Instrumentation & control cables, junction boxes, and other electrical accessories. Assist in technical evaluation of vendor offers and participate in supplier discussions. Support new product development and localization activities in line with organizational goals. Maintain and update supplier catalogues for instruments, electrical equipment, cables, etc. Ensure comprehensive documentation of each order, including backups for future reference. Lead engineering activities related to E&I systems to support product localization and technology transfer. Requirements Education M.E. / M.Tech in Power Electronics Experience 510 years of relevant experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) function Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of electrical system design (safe as well as hazardous areas), component selection, specification review, DCS/PLC systems, and process instrumentation. Hands-on experience with EPLAN for wiring diagrams and SAP for BOM preparation. Proficiency in electrical CAD and ERP tools. Knowledge and experience in electrical motor design for oil & gas installations. Proven design & application experience in power electronics. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lead projects independently and collaborate across cross-functional teams. .
