Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati for a BLDC Motor Design Engineer. The role involves designing and developing BLDC motors and associated components for applications such as solar DC water pumps and other BLDC-based products. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing motor designs, performing simulations and analysis, collaborating with electrical, electronics, and mechanical teams, and optimizing designs for efficiency, reliability, and manufacturability. The engineer will prepare detailed CAD models and drawings, support prototype development and testing, and contribute to continuous improvement of existing product lines. The role also includes documenting design specifications, complying with relevant standards, and working closely with production and R&D; teams to ensure smooth transition from design to manufacturing. Qualifications - Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for electro-mechanical systems. - Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering expertise, including understanding of rotating machinery, materials, and thermal considerations. - Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and detailed engineering drawings. - Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering knowledge related to BLDC motors, power electronics, and control systems. - Relevant bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent); advanced degree is an advantage. - Experience with motor design, testing, and performance analysis, preferably in BLDC or similar technologies. - Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., FEA, electromagnetic or thermal analysis) and basic knowledge of hydraulics is beneficial. - Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and capacity to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary R&D; teams. .
