Role & responsibilities Professional Land Surveyor Responsibilities & Duties - Conduct surveys to determine property boundaries. - Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, and reports of surveys. - Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites. - Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as GPS equipment, theodolites, and total stations. - Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to deliver accurate land assessments. - Research legal records, survey records, and land titles to understand the context of a land area. - Supervise and manage field staff to ensure survey accuracy and efficiency. - Prepare and present reports on survey results to clients and stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to land surveys. - Advise on land development and construction projects based on survey results. Professional Land Surveyor Qualifications & Skills - Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure. - Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or related field. - Proficiency in modern surveying technology and software-AUTOCAD. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. - Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) software. - Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. - Strong knowledge of local and federal surveying laws and regulations. - A degree or certification in land surveying or a related field. - Several years of experience in land surveying. - Understanding of surveying principles and practices. - Proficiency with surveying equipment and software. - Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. - Robust organizational and project management skills. - Ability to interpret and analyze complex data and legal documents. - Good physical fitness to perform fieldwork. - Valid driver's license. Preferred candidate profile Immediate Joiners are preferred. Ready to relocate candidate are preferred. .
