We are looking for a Performance Controller / Finance & Performance Management Analyst As Performance Controller / Finance & Performance Management Analyst, you will take end-to-end ownership of segment reporting and performance transparency for one Siemens Mobility segment. Based in India, you will work closely with German and regional stakeholders, drive forecasting and planning processes, and provide decision-relevant financial insights directly to segment and senior management. You will play a key role in shaping financial transparency and actively give to digital and AI-enabled transformation in Finance. Youll make a difference by: - Act as Finance Business Partner for the assigned segment, supporting strategic and operational decision-making through financial guidance and challenging business assumptions - Drive and coordinate monthly forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with regional and HQ collaborators - Own and deliver segment reporting, financial analysis, and management insights, including variance analysis, KPIs, and transparent recommendations - Partner with country and regional controllers during monthly closing, data validation, and maintenance of controlling templates - Take ownership of ad-hoc financial analyses and management requests, including preparation of decision-ready presentations for segment leadership - Drive digitalization and operational improvement, actively using AI-enabled tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot and internal AI solutions) alongside Excel, Power Query, Power Automate, KNIME, and BI tools (e.g. Power BI). Youll win us over by: - Bachelors degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Masters / certification is a plus) - 710 years of experience in controlling, FP&A;, or financial analysis, preferably in a multinational setting - Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint - Hands-on experience with digital, automation, and AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Power Query, Power Automate, KNIME), applied in reporting, analysis, or process automation - Strong understanding of financial data structures, KPI logic, and reporting dependencies - SAP / ERP or BI tool exposure is a plus - Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate expertly with international stakeholders, particularly in a German business context - Ability to work independently in a cross-functional, global environment - Proficient in English; additional languages are an advantage What we offer - Flexible working arrangements - Career, professional, and personal development - Opportunity to work closely with international leadership and contribute to segment-level decision-making - A collaborative and future-oriented finance environment with strong focus on digitalization and AI.
