Job Summary: The Branch Manager for Equity Broking at Indiabulls Securities will be responsible for managing all operations and business activities of the branch. The role requires driving sales, managing client relationships, and leading the branch team to achieve revenue targets. The Branch Manager will act as the face of the company in the assigned region and work towards expanding the client base in equity broking services. Key Responsibilities: - Business Development & Sales: - Focus on revenue generation and acquisition of recent client relationships. - Drive new client acquisition and increase revenue from existing clients through equity broking services. - Develop and implement branch-level sales strategies to meet/exceed targets. - Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, promoting various equity products. - Acquisition of Authorised Persons to expand the business network. - Team Management & Leadership: - Minimum 3 years of team handling experience in the stock/commodity broking field. - Lead, motivate, and manage the branch sales and support team. - Responsible for finding, grooming, and retaining the right talent for the team. - Conduct regular training sessions and performance reviews. - Ensure high levels of employee engagement and productivity. - Customer Service & Relationship Management: - Provide excellent customer service with a view to retain and build on existing client relationships. - Ensure prompt resolution of client grievances and queries. - Maintain high standards of client service and satisfaction. - Promote investor education and awareness about equity products. - Reporting & Documentation: - Prepare and present regular reports on branch performance, sales, and client feedback. - Maintain accurate documentation for audits and regulatory purposes. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field. - Relevant certifications such as NISM (Mutual Funds, Equity Derivatives) or similar are preferred. - Minimum 5-7 years of experience in equity broking, with at least 3 years in a managerial role handling teams. - Strong understanding of stock markets, equity products, and trading platforms. - Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
