Job Description Territory Sales Executive (TSE) / Territory Sales Manager (TSM) Pre-Owned Vehicles Role Purpose The TSE/TSM will be responsible for driving the pre-owned vehicle business by sourcing second-hand vehicles, developing market networks, managing retail sales, and creating partnerships with brokers, fleet owners, and recycling companies. The role also focuses on achieving monthly sales targets and executing field activities to generate business. Key Responsibilities Business Development - Identify and approach potential customers for pre-owned vehicle buying and selling. - Source second-hand vehicles from individual customers, fleet owners, and channel partners. - Manage the resale of refurbished/pre-owned vehicles to retail customers. - Achieve monthly retail sales targets for the assigned territory. Channel Development - Build and maintain a network of second-hand vehicle brokers. - Develop relationships with fleet owners for bulk vehicle sourcing. - Identify and onboard battery recycling companies for end-of-life battery disposal and recycling. Sales & Marketing - Plan and execute field activation activities such as Exchange Melas, Roadshows, and Local Campaigns to generate enquiries. - Increase brand visibility and customer engagement within the assigned territory. - Track enquiry conversion and retail performance. Finance & Documentation - Coordinate with finance partners for vehicle financing. - Ensure complete documentation for vehicle purchase, resale, ownership transfer, and financing. - Support customers throughout the documentation and loan approval process. Pricing & Market Intelligence - Conduct market surveys to understand used vehicle demand and pricing trends. - Develop and maintain a competitive price grid for second-hand vehicles. - Monitor competitor activities and recommend pricing strategies. Desired Candidate Profile - Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred). - 2 to 8 years of experience in automobile sales, used vehicle business, retail sales, or channel sales. - Experience in the pre-owned vehicle market, exchange programs, or dealer network is preferred. - Solid negotiation, customer handling, and relationship management skills. - Good understanding of vehicle documentation and financing processes. - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
