The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in consulting and Workday Adaptive Planning, with the ability to understand business requirements, translate them into effective planning solutions, and support organizations in improving their financial planning and analysis processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable planning solutions, optimize existing processes, and ensure successful adoption of Workday Adaptive Planning. Requirements Key Responsibilities Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements, financial planning processes, challenges, and objectivesProvide consulting and functional expertise across Workday Adaptive Planning solutionsAnalyze existing planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes and recommend improvementsTranslate business requirements into functional specifications and effective Adaptive Planning solutionsConfigure and maintain Adaptive Planning models, dimensions, sheets, versions, assumptions, reports, dashboards, and planning structuresSupport budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, financial modeling, and management reporting processesCollaborate with finance and business teams to design planning models aligned with organizational requirementsAssist in data integration, data validation, and reconciliation between Adaptive Planning and other enterprise systemsTroubleshoot functional issues and provide timely resolutions while maintaining data accuracy and system performanceConduct requirement-gathering sessions, solution walkthroughs, user training, and knowledge-transfer sessionsPrepare functional documentation, process flows, configuration specifications, and user guidesSupport testing activities, including functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolutionWork with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvementStay updated on Workday Adaptive Planning capabilities, best practices, and evolving financial planning requirements Must-Have Skills 3-6 years of experience in consulting, financial planning, business analysis, or enterprise planning solutionsStrong hands-on knowledge of Workday Adaptive PlanningExcellent consulting and stakeholder management skillsStrong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting processesExperience gathering requirements and translating business needs into functional solutionsAbility to analyze complex business problems and provide practical, scalable recommendationsGood understanding of Adaptive Planning concepts such as dimensions, accounts, levels, versions, sheets, assumptions, and reportingStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to work effectively with finance, business, and technical stakeholders Good-to-Have Skills Experience in Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projectsExposure to end-to-end implementation methodologies and project lifecyclesExperience with integrations between Adaptive Planning and ERP, HR, or financial systemsKnowledge of data import/export processes and integration toolsExperience developing dashboards, reports, and management reporting solutionsWorkday Adaptive Planning certification or relevant Workday trainingExposure to Agile or other structured project delivery methodologies Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Relevant professional certifications or equivalent practical experience will be an advantage. .
